Camellia Festival Organizers Announce 2009 Royal Court

Temple City has just announced the six members of the Camellia Festival festival’s Royal Court, as well as the four children who will carry the court’s banner during the annual the annual Camellia Parade.
A competition for the Royal Court was held last Saturday. Judges from across the city selected the winners based on how they well they got along with other children, and how well they did in a question-and-answer segment, said Nanette Fish, festival director.

The Festival takes place next month, Feb 20 – 22 with the Carnival in Temple City Park.
The Royal Coronation will take place Feb 6 at 7pm at the Live Oak Park Community Center.
