Camp-A-Palooza A Huge Hit With Kids

There was a caravan of tents and sleeping bags for the third annual Camp-A-Palooza at Live Oak Park over the past weekend. Temple City Parks & Recreation Department hosted the Safari Adventure themed event that included a family scavenger hunt, family competitions and obstacles, talent show, and the movie Kung Fu Panda.
The family competition and talent show winners received gift cards to Appleebees, tickets to the Los Angeles Zoo or Knotts Berry Farm. The families were treated to BBQ dinner and continental breakfast. Over 90 families came out for the camping excursion.
