My gratitude to those that assisted me and prayed for me at the time of my greatest need is beyond words, but please let me say:

To Jeff Lynn of Pro Tint on Rosemead in TC, Officer Arizumi, Sergeant Osterman, Dan Arrighi and the LA County Paramedics whose rapid response not only preserved my life, but insured no damage at all resulted from oxygen deprivation, I wish to express my sincere thanks and those of my family.

To Dr. Edwin Yih Jen Kok of Southern California Heart Centers whose dedication and optimism helped my family through my darkest days in undiscovered country, you are a great credit your noble profession – that of a healer – and I honor you.

To the physicians and nurses at LA USC CCU, I live through your efforts as well.

Many, many thanks to those of our little community of Temple City and beyond that have wished me well.

To those that prayed for me…your prayers are strong.

To those that rushed to my aid… your skills are great.

To those that share with me the best wishes for our innocent little town and for our world, I promise to try to do some good each day of my life for how well I know, it could be my last.

Let’s not forget Code Enforcement Officer Brian Arizumi who brought the breathing pack from the office to help Mr. Briggs. He and sheriff’s personell started CPR prior to the paramedics arriving.

Jeffrey Briggs said what many residents in this city wanted to say. It was very sad what happened last night.
