This Saturday: TCUSD Hosts Community Health Fair

The Temple City Unified School District will host a free Community Health Fair and
5K Run/Walk on May 9, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Temple City Park.
The Run/Walk will begin at 7:00 a.m.
A dentist will be available to provide student dental screenings, which are mandated by the State. The Fair will also include diabetes, grip strength, body fat, and blood pressure screenings. Vendors will provide information about acupuncture, mental health services, smoking cessation, and more!
Fun activities are planned—face painting, an inflatable bouncer for kids, and a raffle for adults! This year, Hoopadelic’s will provide a hula hoop demonstration and contest. Temple City High School’s Jazz Band and Longden Elementary School’s Drill Team will perform in the Performing Arts Pavilion.
Temple City Park is located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City.
